All About the Email Marketing Tool

The email marketing tool lets you create and send custom email campaigns, design customized layouts, and track performance with built-in analytics, all from within your BookTix account.  This article will link you through all of the steps and helpful guides to using the tool. 

Then, you will need to activate the Email Marketing Tool. 
Please note that prior to sending any emails, BookTix does a pre-verification process on all emails in a client's account to make sure they're valid.

Build Your List

To simply send an email to your entire customer list, you won't need to build a list! Continue to Create Campaign.

If you do wish to build a custom contact list, view the Advanced Articles. 

Create Campaign

Next, you'll access the Email Marketing Tool to begin setting up the Email Campaign that you will send to customers. 

Design & Layout

When making your campaign, you will design your email message either using a pre-existing BookTix Template, or making one from scratch with the different design elements.

Send & Track Results

After you have designed your email, complete the campaign by sending the email and tracking your results.

Build Your List

The List Builder is a tool to segment your contacts based on past purchases.
After you create a list, you can download it or use it directly in our Email Marketing Tool to contact your customers.

If you wish to simply email all of your contacts, you will not need to Build a List, and can move straight to Create a Campaign. 
     
      2. Build your List
            a. Build it by Purchase History : based on orders made across both log in accounts or guest account
            b. Customer Profiles based on traits within login accounts only
            c. Upload a Custom List : where you can import your own contact list and use it to make a List within BookTix

Create Campaign

Next, you'll access the Email Marketing Tool to begin setting up the Email Campaign that you will send to customers. 

      1. Create a Campaign
            a. Send the Email Campaign to a Custom List (what you had made above)

Design & Layout
When making your campaign, you will design your email message either using a pre-existing BookTix Template, or making one from scratch with the different design elements.
