How to Postpone an Event in BookTix – Reschedule Dates & Notify Customers | BookTix Help

Postponing your Event

⏱︎ 2 minutes

Postponing the event will require two steps: moving the dates in the system, and contacting your customers to notify them of the change.
Notes
Any tickets purchased for the initial dates will remain valid when you reschedule them.

Postponing the Event

  1. Log in and navigate to your department.
  2. On the left side menu, go to Box Office Manager → EVENTS.

  3. Click EVENT MANAGER next to the event you need to postpone.
  4. Along the top header bar, click DATE MANAGER

      5. Click the date button of the one you need to postpone.

      6. While in the Date Information tab, click EDIT

      7. In the date picker box, change the date and time as needed.
Info
You may wish to add a note in the Date Description box that states what the previous date of the event was, to help with anyone who might be confused.

      8. Click UPDATE

And you're done!  Should you need to update other dates, repeat steps 5-8.
