Adding Specific Directed Donation Items

      1. Click ADD DIRECTED DONATION ITEM

      2.  Fill out the form.
            a. Give it a title, abbreviation, image, and short description
            b. ITEM STATUS should be Active, and ITEM PUBLIC STATUS can be Public if you are ready to open sales upon completion.
            c. Choose if the item is COUNT BASED or GOAL BASED and enter necessary details.

Count based means you're looking to raise money for a certain number.

For example: You need the money for 12 new chairs at $30 each.

Goal based means you're raising a larger amount and people can make individual donations to reach the goal.

For example: Raising $2,000 for a new soundboard, and customers could donate $10 to that goal.

      3. Click SUBMIT.
      4. Add additional Directed Donation Items until complete.

Donating to a Directed Donation Campaign as a Customer

Customers will choose however many registry items that would like to purchase or enter the amount they would like to donate, then add to the cart and checkout as normal.

When you've reached your goals:
On a count based donation, no more can be sold.
On a goal based donation, people can continue to donate.

Notes
If a customer donates, this doesn't automatically purchase the registry item for you. You will simply receive the money as a lump sum, and will need to purchase the items separately.
