Creating a Program Ad

Program Ads are a way to sell advertisements for your program booklet right on the BookTix platform. There are templates or you can create your own from scratch, which lets you set sizes, ask your customers questions, and allows them to upload graphics. 



      1. Log in and navigate to your department. 
      2. On the left side menu, go to Marketing and Fundraising → PROGRAM ADS.
      

      3. Click ADD NEW PROGRAM AD

      4. Choose to  start from one of our templates or BUILD YOUR OWN
What does each template include?

Includes

   On an 8.5" x 11" Page Folded: 
  1. 1/4 Page Ads
  2. 1/2 Page Ads
  3. Full Page Ads

  On an 11" x 17" Page Folded: 
  1. 1/4 Page Ads
  2. 1/2 Page Ads
  3. Full Page Ads

  On an 8.5" x 11" Page Folded: 
  1. 1/4 Page Ads
  2. 1/2 Page Ads
  3. Full Page Ads
  4. Inside Cover Page (1 Available)
  5. Outside Back Cover Page (1 Available)
  6. Booster Messages (Single lines of text for shoutouts)

  On an 11" x 17" Page Folded:

   Unspecific to program size:
  1. Only offers the option for booster messages 
    (Single lines of text for shoutouts). 





      5. Enter or edit the overarching Program Ad details. 
Info
If this program will be used on a specific event, you could, for example, rename it as "Annie Program Ads". 
 


      6. Add or edit the different Ad Type Options (for example, "1/4 Page Ad" would be an Ad Type that you can offer.)

Start From Template
a. Review and each Ad Option. 
      1. Add your MAX QUANTITY TO SELL
      2. Add your AD PRICE and FLEX FEE
      3. Review and edit the pre-made questions. You can delete them, edit text, or add more questions as needed. 

            Questions on each pre-made Ad Option include: 
    1. Description about the Ad Type, including how large the Ad will be.
    2. Layout Type: If the customer wishes to design it OR if they want you to design their ad for them. 
    3. Upload Final or Images to Include: An upload box for them to send a PDF, JPEG, or PNG of their Ad or Ad images. Check off if you wish to allow them to upload only 1 file, or allow more than 1 file upload. 
    4. A long form answer box for them to add any additional notes or questions.                 


b. If you wish to add more, click ADD OPTION underneath the premade list. 



Build Your Own
a. Click ADD OPTION

b. Enter the details within the form. 

      1. OPTION NAME - type of Ad you are offering (for example, 1/4 page ad). 
      2. OPTION DESCRIPTION - short description of the Ad type. 
      3. MAX QUANTITY TO SELL - maximum number available. 
      4. PUBLIC STATUS - if it's available to the public or only within the Point of Sale tool (or, "private). 
      5. CARD FEES - Ad price and flex fee. 
      6. CASH FEES - Fees on Cash purchases, should they differ from the Card option. 
      7. QUESTIONS - Any questions or descriptive information you need to ask/tell the buyer for the ad. To add multiple questions to one Ad Option, click ADD QUESTION. 
    1. Text Boxes (Short Answer) and Text Boxes (Long Answer) allows short or long typed answers
    2. Select Dropdown has multiple options and the customer must only choose one
    3. Radio Buttons has multiple options and the customer must only choose one
    4. Check Boxes has multiple options and the customer can select more than one
    5. Date allows customer to enter only a date, while Date Time allows both a date and time
    6. Text Break is simply a reminder added to the bottom of the order that does not allow a customer to enter any information (like "please bring a canned good!")
    7. File Upload lets a customer upload the image or file associated with their ad right when they purchase


c. Add as many Ad type options as you need by clicking ADD OPTION and repeating the steps above, on your Program Ad options are complete. 

Booster Messages Only
a. Review the Booster Message Ad Option. 
      1. Add your MAX QUANTITY TO SELL
      2. Add your AD PRICE and FLEX FEE
      3. Review and edit the pre-made question. You can delete them, edit text, or add more questions as needed. 
      The question for the Booster Message is a short description, and a text box for the customer to add their shoutout. 

b. If you wish to add more options, click ADD OPTION
 
       7. Click SAVE AD when your Program Ad Options are complete.
