Locking a Ticket Price to a Section

⏱︎ 3 minutes

I need to make a ticket plan with prices locked to sections:

      1. Log in and navigate to your department.
      2. On the left side menu, go to Box Office Manager → TICKET PLANS.

      3. Click ADD NEW TICKET PLAN

      4. Enter the Ticket Plan Name.

We recommend making it related to the show,  or something that describes what’s been included in the ticket plan to make it easier to reference when setting up your event.

      5. Click ADD NEW TICKET TYPE.

    6. Enter your ticket type details.

            e. Ticket Price: Base price of tickets

Click AUTO FEE to automatically calculate what to charge in the Flex Fee in order to cover the BookTix Fee.
            g. Cash Fees: An option to charge a different processing fee on a ticket paid for with cash.
            h. Lock Ticket to Specific Seating Chart Categories: This is where you will lock the price to the section. Use this expander to check off to which sections prices apply.

      7. Click ADD TICKET.
      8. Add any additional ticket types, repeating steps 6-7.
      9. Then, click SUBMIT TICKET PLAN

Your prices will now be locked to your seating chart within this new plan.
