Sponsorships and Packages use a similar internal set up, but function differently. 

Sponsorships

Packages

-offer tiered levels within the sponsorships, like "Bronze", "Silver", and "Gold", which can all offer differing items, tickets, and benefits, while remaining under the same Sponsorship group. 

- intended for donors as a way to raise additional fund .


- collection of items and tickets that can be sold together 

- can offer benefits (or, perks fulfilled outside the system that do not require a purchase, voucher, or ticket receipt.) 

- offer a flex (number of tickets that can be used across events.) or standard (offer a set number to each event/item/campaign) set up.

- No tiered package types within the same group, meaning each package will appear separately on your website. 

-intended for customers as a way to book attendance for multiple events or a collection of certain items and tickets.
