Dealing with Poor Internet Connection | BookTix Event Tips

Poor Internet Connection

⏱︎ 30 seconds

In general, you will need to have access to the internet in order to use the BookTix system.
If your venue has poor internet, you can help yourself be prepared for your event day by considering the following:

  1. Download the ticket report for your event ahead of time.
You will then be able to check off customers as they arrive, and once your internet is back, you can manually check in any missed customers.

  2. You can continue to sell tickets through the Point of Sale tool after the event has begun, so if your internet goes out and you sell tickets by hand (i.e. writing down names, CC numbers, accepting cash), you can process them when internet access returns.
