Can we forgo scanning? What are our alternatives?

Absolutely. In cases where scanners are not preferred, you can rip stubs on hard tickets and collect online tickets. If you want to verify purchases, you can download and print out a list of all purchased tickets.

If you wanted to keep track of attendance without using a scanner or scanning tickets as patrons enter, we also have a manual check in option.
To manually check in orders, go to BOX OFFICE> TICKET SCANNING. Click into your event and date or into your item, then click MANUAL CHECK IN. In here, click the order number and swipe the tickets/vouchers to redeem them.
