Postponing your event is easy on BookTix! Any tickets purchased for the initial dates will remain valid when you reschedule them. You will need to move the dates within the system to postpone your event, and can export your contact list so you can alert your customers. To begin, log in to your administrator portal, then access your department by clicking GO TO DEPARTMENT and navigating into your department.
To reschedule the dates in the system:
1. Look under the Box Office header on the left side, then click EVENTS.
2. Click EVENT MANAGER next to the event you need to postpone.
3. Along the top header bar, click DATE MANAGER.
4. Click the date button of the one you need to postpone, and in the first tab, Date Information, click EDIT.
5. In the date picker box, change the date and time as needed. You may wish to add a note in the Date Description box that states what the previous date of the event was, to help with anyone who might be confused.
6. Click UPDATE. Should you need to update other dates, you can repeat steps 4 and 5.
1. From the Event Manager, click TICKET COUNTS along the header bar.
2. Click the date that has been postponed.
3. Click EXPORT EVENT TICKET LIST. This list will be of all ticket purchasers thus far.
