A Show and a Performance vs. an Event and a Date
⏱︎ 30 seconds
A "Show" and an "Event" both refer to the overarching event.
A "Performance" and a "Date" both refer to the individual dates and times of the event.
For example, you might be hosting a production of Guys and Dolls, or a Gala Fundraiser. These would be the "Show" or the Event. Then, the Friday night performance of Guys and Dolls, or the event date for the Gala Fundraiser, would be the "performance" and the "date".
You can set your wording style when you set up your event. In here, you can choose between "Show", "Event", and "Game".
"Show" wording will refer to your event from the customer side as a show and performance.
"Event" wording will refer to your event from the customer side as an event and it's date.
"Game" wording will refer to your event from the customer side as a game.
