What is the difference between a show and a performance?
A Show is your main event. Your performances are the individual dates and times of your show. For example the show is Guys and Dolls, the performance is Friday night. This can become confusing on a one night only event, but you would still have a show and a performance.
Please note we use "Event and Date" wording interchangeably. Essentially, an event is equivalent to a show and a date is equivalent to a performance. This is so, if your event is not specifically a concert, theatre performance, etc. you are still using the system for your events!
You can set your wording style when you set up your event -- in here, you will be able to choose between "Show", "Event", and "Game". "Show" wording will refer to your event from the customer side as a show and performance, "Event" wording will refer to your event from the customer side as an event and it's date, and "Game" wording will refer to your event from the customer side as a game.
