How do I to exclude Items, Packages, or Tickets from Sales Tax?
You can mark anything for sale in your BookTix account as Tax Exempt to exclude it from your tax rate.
You must have set up a Sales Tax rate in your BookTix account on one or all of your departments in order to mark things as Tax Exempt.
1. Log in and navigate to the department.
2. Access the Ticket Type, Item, or Package.
a. Find them under the Box Office header by clicking TICKET PLANS, ITEMS, or PACKAGES.

Click EDIT next to the item in question.

Then click into the ticket type.

4. Check off the Tax Exempt checkbox.
5. Click the save button for the respective line item.
