Excluding Items, Packages, or Tickets from Sales Tax

You can mark anything for sale in your BookTix account as Tax Exempt to exclude it from your tax rate.
You must have set up a Sales Tax rate in your BookTix account on one or all of your departments in order to mark things as Tax Exempt.
1. Log in and navigate to the department.
2. On the left side menu, go to Box Office Manager → TICKET PLANS, ITEMS, or PACKAGES.
3. Click EDIT next to the item in question.

4. Check off the Tax Exempt checkbox.

5. Click the save button for the respective line item.
