How do I set up a Sponsorship?

Info
Sponsorships give you the option to create a group that includes individual sponsorship levels (i.e. Gold, Silver, and Bronze) that can be assigned event tickets, items, or separate benefits.

Creating Your Sponsorship

Step 1: Making the Sponsorship Group

      1. Log in and navigate to your department.
      2. Under APPLICATIONS,  click SPONSORSHIPS

      3. Click ADD NEW SPONSORSHIP

      4. Fill out the form.
Alert
Name, Abbreviation, Description, and an Image are required.

      5. Click SUBMIT

Step 2 (Optional): Create Your Benefits

If you won't just be offering an Event, Item, or Donation Campaign as your perks, you can add an optional benefit.

Benefits are used to add additional value to a sponsorship.
This option should be reserved for experiences fulfilled outside the system, that do not require a purchase, voucher, or ticket receipt. Benefits are listed in the sponsorship and are tracked only in the redemption reports.

Idea
Examples of benefits: Preferred Parking, Access to VIP Lounge, Curtain Speech Shoutout, Cast Meet and Greet, Post Show Talkbacks, etc.

      1. Log in and navigate to your department.
      2. Under APPLICATIONS,  click BENEFITS

      3. Type in your Benefit name and click CREATE BENEFIT button.

      4. Repeat benefit creation as needed.

Step 3: Create Your Individual Sponsorship Levels

      1. Navigate to VIEW ALL SPONSORSHIPS to view all your Sponsorship Groups.
      2. Click VIEW on the sponsorship group you'd like to add to.

      3. Click ADD NEW LEVEL.  You will need to fill out all necessary details for each Sponsorship level that you are creating (i.e. Gold, Silver, Bronze, etc.).
Idea
This final step functions similar to setting up Packages in our system.

      4. Fill out General Information: Name, Abbreviation, Description, Max Quantity to sell, and select an image.

      5. Select the
Sponsorship Type: Standard or Flex
Notes
If you are creating a Standard Package, you can include events, items, and donations to donation campaigns. Flex Packages can only include events.

      6.
Add your options: Event tickets, items, donation campaigns, or benefits.

      7.
Pricing Options: Set your price, and opt to add on a Flex Fee.

      8.
Revenue Distribution: To do distribute package revenue, opt for either Even Split or Manual Split.
Even Split vs. Manual Split
Even Split divides the price evenly across contents.
Manual Split allows you to determine the individual value per package content.

      9.
Ticket Specifications: Add a name and price to appear on your Sponsorship Voucher.
Notes
You can also lock any event ticket to specific seating chart areas as needed.

      10. Click SUBMIT.
      11.  Repeat as necessary to finish your Sponsorship Group.

Closing Your Sponsorship

When sales are complete, use the CLOSE SPONSORSHIP button in the Sponsorship Group to close out your sales.
