4. Enter the Ticket Plan Name.
We recommend
making it related to the show, or something that describes what’s been included
in the ticket plan to make it easier to reference when setting up your
event.

5. Click ADD NEW TICKET TYPE.
6. Enter your ticket type details.
a. Ticket Name: What your customer will see (like "Adult" or "Student")
b. Ticket Status: Active (available) or Inactive (unavailable)
c. Ticket Abbreviation: (Abv. for the ticket name, like "Adlt" or "Stdt")
d. Available To: Everyone (available on customer site) or Point of Sale Only (only sellable by you in the POS tool)
e. Ticket Price: Base price of tickets
f. Flex Fee: a processing fee you can charge to the customer, particularly to cover the BookTix Fee.
Click AUTO FEE to automatically calculate what to charge in the Flex Fee in order to cover the BookTix Fee.
g. Cash Fees: An option to charge a different processing fee on a ticket paid for with cash.
h. Lock Ticket to Specific Seating Chart Categories: How you can apply specific prices to specific seating sections. Use this expander to check off to which sections prices apply.
In the above example, we are creating "Adult" and "Student" ticket types. Any name can be used to delineate prices from one another. If you only have one price option, you could simply name it "Ticket".
