How do I add a new ticket plan?

Info
A ticket plan is the collection of ticket types used for your event. ticket type is the name and price set for a specific seat or section of your seating chart. For example, if you had a yearly cabaret where Adult tickets were $20.00 and Student tickets were $15.00, you can set up a ticket plan called “Cabaret” with those two ticket types and it can be used each time you create the event.

1. In the left side menu under BOX OFFICE, click TICKET PLANS

2. Click ADD NEW TICKET PLAN

3. Enter the Ticket Plan Name. We recommend making it related to the show or something that describes what’s been included in the ticket plan. This will make it easier to reference when setting up your event.

In the above example, we are creating "Adult" and "Student" ticket types. Any name can be used to delineate prices from one another. If you only have one price option, you could simply name it "Ticket".

5. Enter your ticket type details. This will include the ticket name (what your customer sees), ticket abbreviation, and ticket price.

What is a Flex Fee? An optional, additional fee you can charge your customer that will cover the Booktix Fee. The "Auto Fee" button will calculate the flex fee for you. There are NO BookTix Fees on cash sales.

You can choose to lock a ticket type to a section or sections of a seating chart. For example, you could choose what seating sections are "Premium" vs "General Admission" prices.

When you are done, click ADD TICKETIf you have any additional tickets to add, repeat step 5.

6. Then, click SUBMIT TICKET PLAN
