Holding and Unholding Seats

Holding a seat means it is set aside by an administrator, and cannot be purchased by any customers.  You can unhold a held seat to be released for public purchase, or added to a Point of Sale cart and sold by an administrator.


      1. Log in and navigate to your department.
      2. On the left side menu, go to Box Office Manager → EVENTS.
      

      3. Click EVENT MANAGER next to your event.


      4. Click DATE MANAGER along the top functions bar.
      

     5. Click the date you would like to hold or unhold seats.
     
      6. Click the Hold/Unhold Seats tab.
      
      7. Select if you would like to hold seats, or unhold seats by map or by list.

​   If you do not have any seats held, you will only see the HOLD SEATS button.

Holding Seats
      a. Select the seat(s) you would like to hold.
      b. Add an Hold Description (optional). 
      c. Click PLACE HOLDS.

Unholding Seats - By Map
      a. Select the seats you would like to unhold.
      b. Click REMOVE HOLDS if you are just unholding the seats. 
      c. To sell the held seats in the Point of Sale Tool, check off ADD HELD SEATS..., then click REMOVE HOLDS. 


 If you've moved into the Point of Sale tool, place the transaction




Unholding Seats - By List
      a. Check off the seats you would like to unhold.
      b.Click REMOVE HOLDS if you are just unholding the seats. 
      c. To sell the held seats in the Point of Sale Tool, check off ADD HELD SEATS..., then click REMOVE HOLDS. 



 If you've moved into the Point of Sale tool, place the transaction.
