BookTix is cloud based and is best used on a computer or tablet. All additional equipment options are optional in the BookTix system.
You are not required to print tickets, as all tickets are sent via email when purchased through the customer site. If you choose to print physical tickets you can do so onto a regular paper printer or onto a ticket stock printer.
You are not required to scan tickets in, and can choose if you wish to scan and retain attendance data. If you wish to scan tickets you can do so through the BookTix Scanner app or with a handheld scanner.
You can opt to have all customers buy online, or use the Point of Sale tool to sell tickets at the door. In the POS tool, you can manually enter a card number, or can purchase a card reader if you'd like to be able to tap or swipe cards in person.
