How to Duplicate an Event in BookTix | Quick Event Setup Guide

Duplicating Your Event

Duplicating your event is a way to transfer over all the details from your first iteration of said event. You will need to review the previous event details and choose new dates and times. 
Notes
Any event - closed or not - can be duplicated. 

      1. Log in and navigate to your department.
      2. On the left side menu, go to Box Office Manager → EVENTS.
      
      3. Click EVENT MANAGER next to the event.


      4. Click EVENT INFORMATION along the top header bar. 
      

      5.Click DUPLICATE THIS EVENT. 
      

      6. Here you will get the prefilled form. You must review all previous event details to ensure their accuracy. To continue - 
            In the GENERAL EVENT INFORMATION section: 
                  a. Create a new TITLE ABBREVIATION
                  b. Optionally, add new DISPLAY DATES. 
            Under DATES AND TIMES: 
                  c. Enter new Dates and Times. 
 

Warning
Getting an error? You can't duplicate an event if the seating chart is unpublished or inactive. 

      7. Click SUBMIT EVENT. 
And you're done! Your event has been successfully duplicated. 

If you are ready to open sales to the general public, you can do so now.
