Convert a Guest Customer into a Login Account

This function allows an Administrator to invite a customer who used Guest Checkout to convert to a login account right after an order is completed or later on directly in the order itself.

Converting a Guest order into a Login Account: After Purchase

      1. After an order is completed by a guest customer, a button will appear at the top of the completed order page.

      2. Click CONVERT TO LOGIN ACCOUNT

      3. The customer will receive an email invitation with a CREATE ACCOUNT button in the email.

      

      

     

     

       4. Once the customer clicks CREATE ACCOUNT, it will bring them to the page on your site where they can fill out their information. 

      

      

      5. Once filled out, they'll click REGISTER.

      

        6. Once completed, it'll create their account and link their order to their new login account.

The order placed will automatically link to their new login account.

Converting a Guest Order into a Login Account: Inside the Order

      1. After an order is completed by a guest customer, a button will appear at the top of the completed order page.

      

     

   

  

2. Once you click CONVERT TO LOGIN ACCOUNT, this will pop up:

      

      

3. Once you click CONFIRM, a pop-up will appear at the top of the page stating that an email will be sent to the customer.

      

      

     

     4. Once the customer clicks CREATE ACCOUNT, it will bring them to the page on your site where they can fill out their information. 

      

      

      5. Once filled out, they'll click REGISTER.

      

     

      6. Once completed, it'll create their account and link their order to their new login account.
